MARDI GRAS FOR ALL Y’ALL
VIRTUAL MARDI GRAS BROADCAST
When the decision came down in late 2020 that Mardi Gras parades in 2021 would be cancelled due to the pandemic, our team saw opportunity at a time of great disappointment in New Orleans. We knew we wanted to create something that could help fill the void. What we didn’t have was the luxury of time. Mardi Gras day in 2021 was February 16th and the planning and conceptualization of Mardi Gras for All Y’all didn’t start until December of 2020. With a clear directive in place – creating a multi-night broadcast that showcased everything Mardi Gras – our team set about to execute all of the components of a successful show. That included all of the elements of production and promotion that were required to make a world-class three night broadcast. Ultimately, the results exceeded even our own expectations with more than 1.7 million views across all fifty states and from more than 105 countries. See for yourself.

CAMPAIGN INSIGHTS
Putting Mardi Gras for All Y’all together in less than 3 months was an ambitious endeavor. It required buy-in from our staff who put the show together, our production partners and our corporate sponsors. The reception from the community both in Louisiana and around the world made the effort worthwhile. From musical performances by Grammy award winning artists like the Meters to culinary segments from Emeril Lagasse, Mardi Gras for All Y’all was a comprehensive showcase of everything Carnival in Louisiana and more. The results speak for themselves – 1.7 million views from all 50 states. The show’s success culminated with a prestigious Gold Telly Award in the Non-Broadcast General-Travel/Tourism category.
