MARDI GRAS
FOR ALL Y’ALL
FOR ALL Y’ALL
From Twelfth Night to Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras for All Y’all showcases everything we love about Carnival.
It started as a simple idea – what could we do to fill the void left by the cancellation of Mardi Gras parades in 2021 due to the pandemic. There wasn’t much time to execute. It was mid-December and Mardi Gras was only two months away. Knowing people love Mardi Gras not just in Louisiana but around the world, we ventured on a virtual celebration of Carnival. The result was Mardi Gras for All Y’all. And what a result it was.
A three-night extravaganza on the weekend leading up to Carnival, Mardi Gras for All Y’all featured everything you could imagine – parades, food, music, culture, history, architecture, and most importantly, fun. We were optimistic that our production would be well received by the public. Honestly, however, we could have never anticipated the size of the response. More than 1.7 million views of the online broadcast from all 50 states and 105 countries. We had viewers from as far away as Nepal. It truly crystallized something we knew in advance – everyone loves Louisiana, and everyone loves Mardi Gras.
Our efforts won us the prestigious Gold Telly Award in the non-broadcast travel tourism category plus 2 Bronze Telly Awards for Virtual Events and Experiences for Online and for Travel/Tourism for Online. We’re also nominated for a Webby award as well.

2022 Show
Last year, with the parades rolling again, we turned Mardi Gras for All Y’all into a kickoff for the Carnival Season. A one-night event on January 13th and hosted by Cooper Manning, the show featured Carnival culture from across the state, history, cuisine and everything a visitor would want to know before coming down for Mardi Gras. Our “Best of” show hosted by New Orleans native Michelle Miller featured the best performances and segments from the previous two years of shows. Ultimately, this year’s Mardi Gras for All Y’all generated more than 500,000 views.
We’re doing it all again next year and it’s never too early to think about Carnival. We’d say grab a slice of king cake and let’s talk but that’s a no-no before Twelfth Night. Instead, let’s grab a cafe au lait and talk about Mardi Gras for All Y’all as an incredible event to highlight your brand and your company’s place in the Louisiana community.
